Fifth and sixth grade members of the Barton Hills Choir celebrated the release of their new CD Golden Oldies Vol. 3 with a performance at the legendary Nutty Brown Cafe on Sunday, April 28.

The choir performed songs from their CD along with other classic choir hits on the outdoor stage under a beautiful sky before a standing room only crowd.

Along with Choir Director Gavin Tabone on keyboards, musicians included Jake Perlman on drums, Aaron Dembe on guitar, and Jason Brint on bass. Enjoy these photographs from the show taken and shared by Michael Lumbley.

Fifth and sixth grade members of the Barton Hills Choir recorded a set of holiday classics at KUT’s new Performance Studio 1A on December 19. The show is scheduled to air on Christmas Day on KUT at 8:30 AM.
