The Barton Hills Choir Camp members performed for a large and appreciative audience in the school cafeteria on the evening of June 13. Comprised of 2nd-6th graders, the choir was accompanied by Director Gavin Tabone on piano, Jason Brint on bass, Don Cento on guitar, and Jake Perlman on drums.
The kids sang tunes by Muse, Wilco, and The Flaming Lips as well as other choir classics. Enjoy these pictures taken by Amy Geltemeyer (click the thumbnail to view a larger version).

5th and 6th grade members of the Barton Hills choir performed the National Anthem at the season opener for the Austin Aztex at House Park on May 18, joined by a few Zilker Elementary choir members and their wonderful music teacher/choir director Elda Garcia.
