Enjoy this video of The Barton Hills Choir performing the Brian Wilson/Beach Boys classic God Only Knows at the choir summer camp 2012 performance. The choir is made up of 2nd through 6th graders from Barton Hills Elementary School in Austin, TX and is accompanied by Gavin Tabone on keys, Jake Perlman on drums, and Aaron Dembe on bass.

Fun facts:

• “God Only Knows” was one of the first pop songs to use the word “God” in its title
• U2’s Bono said in October 2006 during Brian Wilson’s induction into the UK Music Hall of Fame that “the string arrangement on ‘God Only Knows’ is fact and proof of angels.”
