Third and fourth grade choir members performed their Halloween Show to a packed house at Barton Hills Elementary on October 27. Directed by Gavin Tabone on keyboards, Jason “Mr. Boom Boom” Nunnenkamp on bass, and Jake “Mr. Bubbles” Perlman on drums, the choir’s set included classics like “Supercalafragalisticexpialidocious,” “Donna,” and the Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows.”

The Barton Hills Choir performed at the St. Francis School of Austin “Howl,” their annual carnival event, on Saturday, October 20. The Choir was accompanied by Director Gavin Tabone on keyboards, Jake Perlman on drums, and featured vocals by 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade members. 5th and 6th grade members of the Barton Hills Choir held their annual Sock Hop at the school on Thursday evening, Sept. 27, performing classic hits from the 50’s for the audience to enjoy and dance to. Barton Hills Choir fifth and sixth graders performed their Sock Hop show for the school during the day on Thursday, Sept. 27, treating their fellow students to hits from the 1950’s like Yakety Yak and Johnny B.
