On May 27 4th graders from the Barton Hills Choir performed at the the world famous Antone’s as part of the 5th annual Read Write Rock benefit show for CapCityKids. The kids sang songs from their “Golden Oldies Vol. 1” and “Golden Oldies Vol. 2” CD’s. Enjoy these photos taken by Lori Najhar (click to enlarge).

Barton Hills Choir 4th grade members performed at Antone’s Night Club on May 19 as part of the Read, Write, Rock! show benefiting CapCityKids. Choir parent Lynn Williamson took the picture above featuring the choir performers in front of the legendary club.
4th grade Barton Hills Choir members with Director Gavin Tabone will be special guests at the May 19th Read, Write, Rock! show at Antone’s benefiting CapCityKids. Along with the BHC, Malford Milligan and his All-Star Band, David Grissom, and the winner of the Round Rock High School Battle of the Bands are scheduled to perform.
100% of event proceeds will directly benefit CapCityKids, a charitable organization that assists at-risk homeless students in the Austin Independent School District.
