Select Barton Hills Choir 5th graders will sing with Sara Hickman at the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar on Monday, December 20, from 3:30 to 6:00 PM.

Now in it’s 35th season, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is one of Austin’s most unique and treasured events, combining an art fair with a music festival in a holiday atmosphere unmatched anywhere in the world.

Mark your calendars for a very special event that will be here before you know it: the lighting of the Zilker Tree. An annual tradition since 1965, the event promises to be even more popular since the City of Austin budget for 2010-2011 did not provide funding for the famous Trail of Lights.
The show is scheduled to start at 6 PM but come early to get a seat up close to see the Barton Hills Choir perform holiday favorites, including:
Sleigh Ride Bounce (version 2)
Winter Wonderland Bounce (version 2)
Parking is free, but bring funds for hot chocolate, kettle corn, and other goodies that will be available. It’s a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit and is sure to be a night to remember.
