In October 2013, the Barton Hills Choir performed at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on both Fridays of the festival, taking the Zilker Stage with a program featuring music by Muse, Daft Punk, the Flaming Lips, Wilco, the Beatles, Queen, the Beach Boys and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

These four videos preserve that special performance for the school community, featuring the Choir’s fifth- and sixth-grade singers accompanied by their professional backing musicians.

Fifth and sixth grade girls from the Barton Hills Choir had the privilege of performing with world renowned jazz pianist David Benoit at the One World Theatre for two shows on Sunday, December 8, 2013.

The show, titled A Charlie Brown Christmas, celebrated the music of original Peanuts composer Vince Guaraldi, performed by Grammy nominated Benoit, whose credits include Here’s to you, Charlie Brown, 50 Great Years and the star-studded 40 Years: A Charlie Brown Christmas.
