Barton Hills fifth and sixth grade choir members rehearse the Beatles’ Nowhere Man

In living color, this video taken by Lynn Williamson and edited by Gavin Tabone shows the Barton Hills Choir rehearsing the Beatles’ Nowhere Man, accompanied by their all-star musicians: Choir Director Gavin Tabone on keyboards, Jake “Mr. Bubbles” Perlman on drums, Jason “Mr. Boom Boom” Brint on bass, and Aaron “Hair Doctor” Dembe on guitar.

Fun facts:

  • Nowhere Man is featured in the Beatles animated movie Yellow Submarine.
  • “Nowhere Man” is cited by some experts as a landmark Beatles song since it was their very first original composition not to deal with romantic love in its subject matter.

This video is 480×270 pixels, 17 MB, and 2:05 in length, so a high-speed internet connection is recommended (but the file size is small enough to play on your iPhone). Click on image above to play (requires QuickTime).
